just checked your last post. toss those api test kits, they are pretty useless except for the ammonia. they are not reliable.API has good testing kits that you could amazon or get at local petco. The bare basics for saltwater include salinity, pH, ammonia, nitrate, nitrite. They have kits that include all of them, usually around 50-60 clams (not the salinity, will need separate test for that)
off topic but had some brs points so i am testing the tropic marin nitrate, but will make a separate thread about that comparing to icp resultsI'm going to second the opinion on API. Ditch them for Salifert RedSea or Hanna. API is prone to testing errors, and you can't test a lot of parameters with them.
