I gave me BTA a piece of freeze dried krill last night. It took it out of my hand and closed up on it and after a few minutes opened back up like everything was normal. About 5 minutes ago (which would be about 20 hours after I gave him the krill) I saw my clownfish going crazy on something and I looked and it was about 2/3 of the krill I gave the anemone last night. Is is normal for them to keep it that long and then spit it back out?

I wanted to take a picture of it, but couldn't get off the phone with my wife, but it is/was in the process of closing up and in the middle of it there was what looked like a marble sized air pocket/bubble. But it went away pretty quick and when it finished closing it's mouth was wide open. Strange... I hope it is OK.

How big is the anemone? How big was the piece of krill?

How long have you had the anemone?

The anemone is between the size of a tennis ball and a baseball in diameter. I hope that makes sense. The piece of krill was slightly smaller than a popcorn shrimp.

I had to run an errand and when I came back the anemone has opened back up and all of his tentacles are nice colorful and inflated. I have had him for 7 weeks.
