Can i use leds to support the lighting needs of anenomies?

My anemone seems to think you can. You just have to remember that not all LED's are created equal. The fixture has to be able to support more light demanding inhabitants.

I have a large green carpet ( Stichodactyla haddoni ) sitting in the substrate under a Chinese LED (eShine 48 X 3W). But, as Krista said, they are not all equal. There are a number of LED's that are advertised as "reef capable", and I think that term is open for a lot of interpretation. I'm not familiar with the 2600 LED.

I am not familiar with that fixture. I would need more specs about it to say whether or not it can.
