Anemone Picked A Spot Above Water Change Line

My bubble tip anemone decided it needed a new spot. It decided a couple weeks ago that it likes to be at the tippy top of a rock, about an inch down form my high water line. I really really need to do a water change, but that would mean my anemone will be out of the water for a bit while I do so. Any tips? Will it be okay?

It will be fine. They can survive for hours out of the water (think low tide). Nothing to even worry about at all. They are even shipped ‘dry’ (small amounts of water) typically from places like the Philippines to the US.

Mine decided being in front of my return pump getting blasted was the best place to set up home

He'll be fine. Just do the water change. I wouldnt leave him exposed for hours but 5-15min is fine

Completely fine. Mine are out of the water for a while at water changes. It's not a reason to try to move a nem.

Good info. Mine moved to the top of the tank and I can only change 10 gallons (it’s only 91 total system) before the top of the nem is out of water. Also likes getting blasted by the powerhead.

The bozo is in the direct path of the return, so I don't think that'll matter to it much.
