I have an anemone specific tank that I am in the process of upgrading. A bigger tank means new lights, which means an opportunity to change things a bit. :D

I've heard for a long time that anemones like more "white" light in their spectrum. I run more whites on my current anemone tank than I do on my mixed reef tank, but it's only based on anecdotal evidence and subjective experiences of people here (and other places like this).

Have there ever been any studies on the subject?
