Hello everyone,
I have a bubble tip anemone in an established aquarium. I need to transition livestock to a new aquarium due to a defect with the current tank they are in. I’ve always read and been told that you can’t put an anemone into a new aquarium. If I swap tanks, is there a way to help ensure that the anemone does alright? I have a Neptune and trident system for monitoring the main parameters, and the ability to do automatic water changes to help prevent ammonia/nitrite spikes, but due to space limitations I really only have the option of swapping the new aquarium in place. The sump will remain, as will all of the filter media and all live rock will be moved over as well. Does the anemone have a chance at survival? What can I do to increase success with this endeavor?
Thanks everyone in advance!
