I have a AI Prime 16 HD reef

That should be perfect on a tank that size. Keep us posted on the progress. I only keep a haddoni nem now but at one point this tank had 48 bubble tips after splits

I would think it would attach and be ok but not having added one to dry rock I'm hesitant to say yes since I'm not really sure. I assume your talking about a bubble tip nem. Will your lighting support a nem? They need quite a bit of light to thrive. Just asking because it sounds like you may be new to keeping nems.
I'm new I've kept anemones in the past and that went to crap. I'm trying to restart with anemones.

Be sure and cover any power heads. They tend to wander around until they find a spot they're happy with.

This is my only nem now. There's a clarkii inside. Clowns and nems are cool.

The anemone will attach to the dry rock with no issues IMO.

I’d consider some Mexican Turbo snails for the hair algae. If the bubble algae comes back, get emerald crabs from Reef Cleaners (online.)
Tuxedo urchin…. Also real good cleaners, especially for bubble algae. The bristle worms are actually a cleaner worm. The verta snails can be beneficial but their shells can damage coral. All in all the rock would have fine I would say.

What do you mean? Do i remove my powerhead? I've heard they need strong flow
They sell anemone guards for the powerhead because anemones tend to get shredded if they let go of the rock to find a new place to settle.

You need an anemone guard over them. Just look up the power head you have and I’m sure they have an anemone guard for it. Anemones like good flow so I would not pull your power head out

I thi
Hi, I've had by nano 15-gallon tank set up for about 1 year with only a pair of clowns. My previous rock was infested with algae, bad hitchhikers, and more. I threw the rock away and put a dry rock. The sand is all aged. Ammonia, ETC is all good. Do you think its okay to add a BTA for my clowns?
Thank your not going to know until you know? Go for it!
Yes, but do you think the anemone will do fine?
Great question how's your confidence?
