I have a juvenile african flameback angel in my nano at the moment. He's getting moved up into a fish only 55 gallon in January, and at the moment he's been nipping at the corals. He's only nipped at some xenia and a kenya tree and they have been moved into a floating basket. Is there any way to curb this behavior, or will I have to keep the corals in the basket until he's out?

Thank you for the flame back report!

Our orange flame angelfish is a terror to our (former) Zoas but doesn't harm the green Kenya trees or anthelia or zenia.

Just today I was wondering if I could add a flame back to the tank for a beautiful burst of small color.
They are prettier than the Atlantic pygmy angels.

Oh well.
