I purchased this:
Amazon product

and mixed it at 400g to 1 gallon of water (Randy’s part 1). There is a decent amount of white stuff at the bottom. Is this safe to still dose? (Pic below)

Since starting to dose this I have a long term torch develop brown jelly disease and my clam has been gaping. I’m hoping they are not related but I wanted to double check since that is the only change I made (dosing this since Saturday, switched from BRS).

this product was distributed by axio supply and this is the msds I was able to find?

Ok, I assume it’s just the impurities or possibly an anti caking agent? Alright, so this shouldn’t be a problem and wouldn’t explain some of the stuff going on in my tank then?

Yes, maybe calcium carbonate. I think it is pretty unlikely to explain the display tank issues.

DO YOU THINK TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENTS ARE MORE HELPFUL OR HURTFUL TO REEFING?
