Nice!

How's your new Moorish eating?
Hey Freddie, they both are doing good and eating all day. Possibly I am tired of feeding them whole day. I dont understand how any living thing can digest that much of food and not get obese :p . My bigger and older one went on hunger strike for half day when the second one started eating nori from his nori cage but now both of them are happy and sharing it;Happy. Funny thing is that they eat the nori standing in que and if one eats more then the other one simply push the first one and eat. The poor tiny naso blonde have to wait till they finish their turn.

Did the first 20G water change which is 10% today. Man this is tiring. After cleaning and water change I am almost dead. I will restrict to monthly water change lol. Also finally set the light canopy. Now need to shut down the other tank and bring the tang gang upstairs.

This much water for water change lol.. don't judge me by the mess I cleaned everything afterwards. Didn't have any powerhead so used that oak stick to mix the water.

Wow, you are brave to do water changes like that.
Are you sure the salt mixed well enough before adding it to the tank?
That must have taken hours of stirring.

Yeah it was brave. I have to bring that much water upstairs. But it was good exercise. The salt mixed well and its tropic marin pro so it dissolved in 20 minutes. I will possibly do it once a month so its fine but cleaning was a big task.

Don't worry, you will refine your methods and reduce effort and time spent as you go.

@GoVols Freddie, here is our happy Moor. Its very hard to take a good picture of him. He is fast and like to swim all around. Only way to take picture is when you lure him to food. He will stay when he possibly see food in my hand. The other problem is the copperband who needs to be present in all the pictures.

The stare when he figures out I am not feeding and just bluffing.

Time for weekly photo dump. Took some phone picture yesterday including my first FTS after adding the fishes. Also finally broke down the old tank in the garage and brought the tang gang upstairs. I am currently running T5s only but will fireup the radions once I start add the sticks. For all T5 and non blue lovers I am running a giesemann 6500 tropic there.

Its still thin compared to the smaller one I have but it has grown at least 6-8 inches. Also I am observing more thickening of it compared to lengthening since last one week or so.

Update time guys,

The tank is running well. I am having some issues to keep my phosphate up. The skimmer alone is working too well. But I am tuning it up to keep it steady.

Its 5th month since the tank started so it was time to add some SPS. Received my first shipment of coral from Tim @therman. This is my second order from Tim. I ordered some SPS from Tim for my last tank. But this one is special because I choose some oddballs. I will take some pictures tomorrow but here is the list of corals I got from him.

1. RR Raven
2. RMF Ice age granulosa
3. Mantis' Purple-polyp aculeus
4. Swearwolf
5. RR olympus
6. Tyree blueberyy stars

The next batch will be from another forum fellow but I will keep the suspense alive for now. :)

Lol, I thought I can sneak in one millie in there :p . Actually when I was planning the tank I thought of collecting smoothies and oddballs which we don't see in our regular tanks. I love millies because of how shaggy they can be. Possibly I should say no tenuis aquarium. But I swear in my whole reefing life I have never seen a better version of red than RR Raven. Also, the swearwolf is a gem. Here is the stock photo of it from Tim under daylight.

Looking really good. Can't believe how well you are doing with the Moorish idols
Thanks, they are really doing good. The bigger one actually regrown the fin quite a bit. The other one is currently separated and in my other tank as he started to pick on the big one but I will reintroduce him again later. But both eat like crazy and now they started to eat pellets too. So, I am quite happy with them.
