Anirban's Aquaforest journey

I put together the aquarium yesterday and its curing right now. This thing looks huge. It needs some cleanup so I will post the picture later sometime and I am tired like a dead man. Plumbing comes in tomorrow so will keep you all posted how it goes. Also finally decided to do bottom bracing on the tank so will do it later this week.

Yeah, I know its due time for an update. Got my plumbing parts delivered couple of days back. So currently working on finalising the overflow. Will try to post a picture tomorrow. Also the tank is curing and cleaning it slowly. Waiting for the bottom braces to arrive so will finish the tank. I am thinking of adding corner clear frames. Currently planning for stand and customisation.

As promised here is the overflow. Its almost finished but I will do some touchup this weekend.

Time for new updates....

The tank is complete and currently undergoing leak test since last one week. Looks strong and steady.

I was looking for stand ideas and thought to go orthodox way of building one. As i will need a lot of customization regarding my Kore 5th dosing station, sump and control box I will try to make space accordingly. Yesterday I went for my wood hunt and finally came back with all these.

Then since morning I was working on getting the stand done. Right now its almost complete except the top brace as I ran out of nails. I am thinking of painting it white. Yet to decide on the colour....

I have a question. Now the as tank is complete I am thinking should I paint the back black or leave it as it is.

So far I've painted the back of my last two tanks black and I really prefer that over seeing cords hanging down the back side. I vote paint it!

Yeah, hiding the cord looks like the only reason to paint it black but I was thinking can I do some wire management? It will be easy though to paint it but still I like the clear look.....a bit puzzled and confused.

The clear look is nice too so that is a tough call.
Yeah , now you got me.....I really like the clear look but just trying to figure out how to hide those light cables.
