Anniversary Present Gave Me Crabs.......

Funny Day,
Well I really wanted An Acro Crab. I waited and waited asked around looked on the net. I guess folks hate crabs.

Finally good friend said he had one. It was on a something something coral. Clearly I was less interested in coral.

Look what I got.

A direct from Fiji Pink Birdsnest. And, its A Walt Smith. Probably 4 1/2 in across. Pretty beautiful. And being as I just met walt and his wife, to say the least i was pretty stoked.
We saw the crab on the coral before we left,bagged it up, came home to this in the bucket. Look close. theres not a crab, theres three. And an oyster.:D

OH AND THEN..........

I got some macros from a fav LFS two days ago. In the bucket to QT a couple days w a powerhead blasting and stirring it. I took it out shook it off real good....
I put the macros in the tank and and look what I found in the bucket.

Awesome score all around. I'm partial to the pom pom crab though. He's one of my favorite critters in my nano tank :)

So, the Mrs found this. My new crabs are..Tetralia cymodoce. I believe I have two females and a male. When I was putting the coral in the tank the male fell off into the depths. In the morning he was right back in the colony.

I do miss Chucks Addiction. I believe he retired.
