Dinos will only come back if there continues too be an unbalance in microbiology in the tank.or no3 and p04 arent kept at measurable levels....adding copepods and phytoplankton will help keeping dinos in check ...yes they will probably always be in the tank ...but are out competed...
Whats a good target level for N and P when fighting Dinos?

do you mean 0.03 to 0.1?
Nitrates/no3.......po4/phos
Yes ,...really it just needs too be detectable with tests .. but if you can keep it a little higher like I mentioned then you have a buffer zone. . Dont forget to add phytoplankton and copepods

They are part of the ecological food chain....
At the very bottom is phytoplankton..then things like copepods ( not necessarily directly next in line)...you want too creat a health microbiology in your tank ....copepods wont eat dinos ...but help too compete against them ....just like dosing liquid silicates too induce a diatom bloom ...but that's for dinos that dont rise into the water column at night like yours do ....so UV wont affect them
How do copepods compete against dinos? Do dinos eat detritus?

It's about creating a healthy microbiology in your tank ..the food chain..that starts with phytoplankton...and then (not necessarily next) copepods ...

Nice tank ....and looking good ...!!!!

Tank looks good.. P04 1.0 P03 20...

I believe i will do a 15% water change tomorrow.. I took some algae samples and took a video.. I still see Dinos but they don't look like the are moving much.. some other smaller algae is moving like crazy..
Any suggestions?

?? What is SI?
Si = silicate ...I was confused thought this was a different thread...but you have ostreopsis...so UV is needed ....if it was prorocentrum or amphidiniums...then you can beter dose silicate
