Is it necessary to run carbon, cemipure, or any other cem filtration on an LPS tank? I currently have a large hob fuge and large hob skimmer on my 55 gallon.

I would secondary to Allelopathic metabolites. It does not have to be an expensive charcoal. I always, always run charcoal.

My po4 was 2.50 ppm & I added gfo & carbon to my dual reactor & I tested the po4 with my hanna meter it was 1.66 ppm that's almost half as much in less then 24 hrs it really works. Will that shock my corals lowering the phosphates so fast ?
