Howdy all.
Just brought home a Oceanic 58g tank
(36x18x21)

Im upgrading from a BioCube 32 LED.

we are trying to get more growth and color pop out of our LPS, Zoas, and Euphilias.
(Don’t plan on Acros or any of the tricky stuff… maybe a Monti up top)

I would prefer not to drop a pile of money on lights.
suggestions?
wife liked the color of the Noopsyches on the LFS’ display tank, but that was going to be about $600 in lights… trying to stay cheaper if I can still get a good look.

prefer blues to whites.

thanks!
Shaggy

Reef breeder photons are pretty cheap. It would be more than enough light for your setup and you can probably get away with the 24” version depending on how your aquascape is set up. I have mine pretty much directly under the light with maybe a couple inches on either side sticking past the light and everything is happy currently in my tank. Only thing is you would not want to run them even close to full power on a 21” tank.

Creating a strong bulwark: Did you consider floor support for your reef tank?
