Hey Community!

about to fire up my new build and I’m trying to get my fish stocking list together and looking for knowledgeable advice for the planned list.

here’s my tank
E1EC37D0-9CA8-4D1B-951F-0CD1ADE977D0.jpeg

And here’s my list....
  • 2x clown gladiator/mocha
  • Royal Gramma
  • Blue dot Jawfish
  • Yasha white Ray/Dracula goby
  • Melanurus/Fairy wrasse
  • Fire fish
  • Purple tang - (I plan on upgrading the tank before it outgrows it)
  • Flame Angel (maybe)
Thoughts? Feel free to add or remove and cool fish you think might be best!

thanks,

Beautiful setup. Doesn't look like standard 75? Maybe 3x2' footprint?

  • 2x clown gladiator/mocha - yes
  • Royal Gramma - yes
  • Blue dot Jawfish - actually a cooler water fish that doesn't do well in our reefs
  • Yasha white Ray/Dracula goby - yes
  • Melanurus/Fairy wrasse - Basically, yes to both. Melanurus will need sand.
  • Fire fish - Yes. Infamous jumpers that need a lid.
  • Purple tang - (I plan on upgrading the tank before it outgrows it) - Maybe, depending on dimensions. They get a little large and aggressive
  • Flame Angel (maybe) - yes. Slight risk with certain corals.

Here is what I have in my 75g. Your list looks good to me.

(2)Clowns
Starry Blenny
Yellow Tang
Coral Beauty
Fairy Wrasse
Mandarin
Goby/Pistol pair

(2)Fire Shrimp
(2)Skunk Cleaner Shrimp
(10 ish) Peppermint Shrimp
(3) Conches
(2) Cucumbers
assorted snails and hermits

Just add slow, I'd do the tang last as purple are known to be aggressive.

Hey thanks,

no it’s a custom 40”x20”x22”tall
I’m iffy on the dwarf angel, I’ve had a coral beauty and it left my corals alone except for cleaning them.
Will be installing a DD jumpguard for the jumpers.

and I will have to look into the blue dot jawfish since they aren’t cheap either.
Thanks for the tips
