So currently I have 11 different species of tangs in my tank and looking to add more. There is almost no aggression among any of them except for two that some times but tails. While my tank is 350 gallons and give adequate room to swim around. The primary reason I think that I have had good success with low aggression is due to how I add them. First I never add a single tang. That is just suicide alway add in pairs. Second I think tangs need a bonding period , tank only no rocks to get territorial with. This is easy to achieve if you QT your fish before adding. This not only them to get to better known but I do notice they group more together on the initial add which then throws off the other tangs as they don’t really know who to go after.
Wow 350g! I bet that helps on its own. I’ll make note of your other methods if I add any more in the future, they make sense.

I had an issue with the 6ft tank, so I went out and got an 8ft tank.

The blonde naso I have has become sort of immune to the gems aggressiveness, but normally the naso will get all up in her space so I kinda see why she flairs up a bit.. lol

I think all the new extra space will resolve things, but we shall see. Keeping them fed does help, but it gives me cyano in a bare bottom.. which is crazy

Well I should also note I really only consider aggression on my tangs as an instance

So I will add two additional notes

First I think I’m a bit lenient on what I define as aggression. Technically all my tang body up with each other from time to time. As long as they are not showing any signs of body lacerations. I do t consider it an issues. Some get the occasional back tail rip which heals up in a week or two. Aggression for me is the ability to not be able to graze freely on the rock work without then being chased by another with no provoke. Currently this right now is only an issue with my yellow intimidating my scopas at times.

This goes into my second note. A well designed rock work goes a long way with tangs. On my current build I designed it in a way that there are no on way cave where a fish can get bottle in and abused. Everything is just straight through channels with various Y direction almost maze like. This give the the scopas in my case to a better chance to loose sight and letter the yellow go back to other focuses.

Hear are some of the tangs I current keep

Wow! You’ve got almost the whole selection! I’m working on the rock work now for the 8ft and it’s going to be an elongated, oblong 8 figure, in case they need some speed, with a bit of maze action.
