Any cat people?

Adopted her. She very much has a princess attitude.

funny how cats have different personalities. Sorry for the loss of your cat. We had a siamese for 10 years or so that we adopted. He was such a mellow cat. Miss him. My son grew up with him. The cat we have now doesn’t like kids but she leaves him alone and has no claws.

She is beautiful!

We love cats...and dogs. We have five cats all rescues and one of them is blind. We also have two dogs and two birds(Cockatiel and a Blue Quaker). Here's a video of one of the cats watching the fish.

No dogs here but along with our three cats, we have two parrots ( African Grey and a Senegal), five chickens, one snake (Ball Python who was a rescue), two Tarantulas ( we had four at one time ) and a Brazilian Short Tailed Opossum.

I love African Grey's. My local bird store has 4 that I love visiting Sugarcreek Bird Farm is the place. They have been rehomed so many times the bird farm keeps them there. I'd love to get one but I know I could never give it the attention a grey would need.

I would say that out of all of our furry, feathered and finned family members, the Grey is definitely the most demanding.

I'm resurrecting the cat thread because I need advice.

This freaking weirdo has been meowing for almost 24-hours and I don't know what her freaking problem is. She has food, water, a clean litter box -- everything a cat could want. She is meowing while she purrs, meowing while I pet her, meowing on her back -- AND SHE HAS THE MOST ANNOYING MEOW. It's seriously awful.

Help.

(This is what she looks like when she's not meowing incessantly)

Weird. No pain? Is she focused on a specific part of her body? Maybe itchy?

Have you tried playing with her?

Nope. Not showing any tenderness anywhere, clean, not scratching or rubbing against anything. She's been played with, held, and everything else I can think of. I use Pretty Litter and there's no sign of health issues in her urine, but I just walked past the hallway bathroom and it smells like she peed on the rug. :/

Uh oh. Not peeing in the litterbox is a sign of a urinary track infection. Do you only feed her dry kibble?

I’m not a vet, but I think it wouldn’t hurt for a checkup. :)

I've seen her go in the litterbox today, and the litter changes colors if there is an infection or anything. She gets Blue Buffalo kibble, but I guess it couldn't hurt getting her some Fancy Feast.

I really can't figure out what her problem is. I really hope she chills out -- I don't want to have to pay emergency hours fees for diagnostic testing just to find out she's being a brat. Fingers crossed she'll be better in the morning.
