Any idea what this is?

Two months ago, I bought a single polyp and the sale photo looked like this:

The polyp I received look like that, although the colors weren't as rich as that photo.

After two months in my tank, it has grown into six polyps that look like this:

That pink/purple outer rim wasn't there when I first got it. It has developed over time.

Any idea what these are? The closest I've been able to find is Hawaiian Ding Dangs, but these are way more colorful than the photos I see of Ding Dangs.

I think you might be right! My Ding Dangs are a very light pink all over, but they don't have the color variation or depth of color that these do.

Grim reaper zoa?

I can see some resemblance, but they definitely look practically identical to the Hawaiian People Eaters.

What you have there is a strain analogous to Hawaiian PE.

These have traded as wonka berries and that’s generally the most recognized ID for them. Now, the wonka berry name is also used to sell another, altogether different species, (not strain) of zoas. The ones you have usually get the People eater designation. Also worth nothing is that the violet rim before the skirt can and will present differently at times.

Good score, it’s an excellent coral.

That’s why I went with the sour apple name just because of the green with the blue sway in it. Very good score on it. I’m glad that you like it and it’s growing in pretty well. Hey, Jake! Didn't know y'all were on here and didn't want to mention A Reef Creation in case someone felt like I had gotten a raw deal in any way. I emailed last night using the email address I've used before just to let Randy know how they had changed in case it was interesting in any way. It's still wild to me how much zoas can morph. That thing looks like a completely different kind of zoa now. (And yeah, I do love them.)

And I'll also give y'all a major shout-out. I've never worked with a company (in any industry) with better customer service, and I've never seen a company pack a live shipment better than y'all do. I'm a huge fan of ARC!
