It’s growing out of the middle of my button scoly garden. It doesn’t have feathers, that’s a feather duster directly behind it, but in the pic, it looks like it has feathers.

Does it move? Is the stem hard or soft?

It’s hard. I never really see anything come out of it, but when I touch it something inside moves down further into the tube. I thought it was a vermetid snail at first, but there is never any slime that I've seen?

A better pic might help a lot, maybe less blues. Hoping it is not a vermetid snail
I'll try and get one later. It's in a really weird spot to get a pic, but I'll turn off the blue lights and see.

It's possible that it might be a vermetid tube. I have a 6 bumble bee snails, and a few of them spend a lot of time in and around that rock that houses the button scolys. It's possible that they may have already eaten it and I'm just seeing the tube because I've never seen any slime coming out of it.

Probably hard to say, but if the inside is shiny, it's a Vermetid tube; if it's matte, it's a feather dusters tube.
