Any idea what this is

A few months back when I had dinoflagellates I had a piece of plate which was plastered in it and did not hold out much hope for it so removed it and slung it in the sump and there it was for 2 months I then come across it about a month ago when in there and to my surprise it was still alive.

It had receeded a bit so I chopped the skeleton off and plonked it back into the DT and a month later it looks like below any idea what plate type it is.

Must be a tough cookie as it's already showing growth.

Amazing at what some corals go through and how they turn out. I had a rainbow monte that I thought was a total goner, but placed it in my dt only to see the polyps start to extend again. Now coloring is another issue. I'll have to wait for that.

The top down makes me think Lithophyllon, but the side makes me think chalice.

I don't know if I have done the right thing but I've moved it to the bottom and bonded it to a piece of rock so it can be seen and enjoyed better I'm hoping it won't upset it now got this picture of it

Certainly looks like a chalice now, and towards the bottom would be a good place for it.
