Hey all,
Been doing slot of research on the different eels to put into my 120G reef tank. I know the snowflake is very common but I was looking at the Zebra eel as they say it is out more during the day than other eels so I can enjoy it more. And also that they tend to not eat any small fish in the tank.
Also do you guys QT your eels? I read that they are disease resistant? Thanks

Saw one at the lfs yesterday, it was totally out and swimming around! But I wouldn't trust it around small fish and inverts (I wouldn't trust snowflakes either)... Also if you qt your fish then you should qt the eel. Anything can bring in pests, even chaeto can harbor ich for a short time
