Longspine Urchin with Sharptail Snake Eel? And possibly snowflake eel?

Hey everyone

Just want to get some second opinions on my planned stock list. So far I have a Sharptail Snake Eel and Sailfin Tang sharing a 125 gallon mixed reef with large rock arch, and the tank has a 55 gallon sump. So far so good with the eel and tang, however I added my longspine black urchin the other day (moved him from another 55 gallon into the 125) and since then I have noticed a few small pokes on the eel’s rear sides. The urchin is about 10” in diameter (needle end to needle end) Does anyone have experience with urchins poking tank mates? Is it something to be worried about long term or will the eel learn to avoid the large black spiky guy?

I also have a Snowflake Eel still in the 55 gallon the urchin was previously in, and I was hoping to be able to add him to the 125 eventually as well. However in the past the two eels were pretty hostile, albeit in a 50 gallon waterbox brand tank (I know I shouldn’t have even tried it).
But I’m hopeful that I can add both eels into the 125 gallon and that they’d learn to live with each other and establish their own spaces. This is all speculation though and I’m having trouble finding information about sharptail snake eels in general, especially their compatibility with snowflake eels in a 125 gallon. The snowflake of course prefers to hang out in the rockwork/PVC tunnel and the sharptail swims very actively dusk to dawn

I’m hoping that the tank would be able to reach a “natural balance” without any tank mates getting injured or killed. But nervous to throw them all in together to try! Both eels are around 18-20” btw

Sorry for the rambling but just want to see if anyone has any advice…

I have a longspine and a halloween in my 180 and everyone usually just ignores them. About a week or 2 ago, I noticed my rabbitfish had a 2" spine sticking out of his neck. While i was trying to figure out how to pull it out without making it worse, he got it out on his own. He gives the longspine a wide berth now.

More than likely the eel bumped into the urchin. I think adding the snowflake would be fine. I have to bump my zebra eel on her nose when feeding her a shrimp cause her eye sight is horrible!!

Its aways a foxface doing some dumb stuff like that
