Got excited on a -20% discount sale by liveaquaria near end of April.

Spread the words to my friends, we each placed an order, and I placed a huge order (decent amount honestly) and got confirmation.

No words first week, second week, and got impatient and tried to contact liveaquaria thru email this Monday. No response btw, and phone doesn’t work. :)

Today both of our orders got cancelled!! Fun! Idk. Was the discount too much? Was the fish missing or something?

Anyways bummed out that I have such a sum docked for half a month and an order that I look forward to cancelled. Would be nice to atleast get some updates like- maybe 1 week in??

Disappointing.

They have been having a lot of issues and was a hot topic of debate here on R2R for a while. Not sure what state they are in however there were talks about bankruptcy and different ownership. Others have mentioned very similar stories. Hopefully you got your money back, I remember some not being so lucky.

i have suddenly been getting emails from them with their current sales. not sure why. just thought it was strange when i had heard that they were going under. hadnt heard from them in a very long time then here they are!

I've had a cancelled order from them before as well. I think it happens when they don't have things in stock. They are not good with communication though. It's unfortunate, they used to be THE place to buy fish.

Shouldn’t take half a month to find out they don’t have the fish. What ticks me off is that I COULD have used the money somewhere else, and I had to skip that because they got my money.

Yeah, that's why I said communication is bad. If they would have just communicated with you this would have been a non-issue because you could have cancelled the order and moved on.

I used to order most of my fish there!
Last time the whole order was horrible shipped with ice pack in the winter.
Next order mostly all DOA. Would avoid them at this point!

They are in active bankruptcy. So order at your own risk.

Judging from all the horror stories coming from them over the past year or two, or three, you are probably lucky the order was canceled by them.
Lots of pieces ordered, lots of areas of failure by them.

Hmm. Just tried to log on and message says Safari can't find server?

Now website is back up......

They out of business. Took my order. My last order a month ago all species dead on arrival and never replied back. I reported this to my credit card company and gave me credit. I am sure they done. A shame as they used to be one of the best.
