All u need is a strobe light and speakers

Anyone know how to controll a disco ball from apex?

For those people living in San Jose, CA, I got the tubing from Neptune Aquatics. And they still have a full set of collors in stock.

Just wanted to give credit to them for thinking of them for dosing lines

I have also found legos work great when you don’t want to glue (or in my case wait for glue to dry) plastics.

I find i can drill a hole and then use the lego technic pins to hold things together.

For those wondering about the dosing lines, the LFS started carrying them thinking they would make good dosing lines, amd so far i have to agree. I have them connected to the apex dos, and i havn’t had air bubble issues yet.

Here is a link to the company
https://www.cobaltaquatics.com/products/silicone-airline-4mm

And they are called cobalt aquatics pre ium airlines.

The grow lights in the sump. Make them really stand out. And yes, I am dosing Kryptonite.
Ordered, lol. Thank you!

Oh really! Haha I was just there today buying acropower. Didn’t see them!

They moved / hid them. They are in the back between where the fresh water tanks meet the salt water tanks along the back wall.

Ask them and they will show you (unless they are hording them all :)).
I found it usefull to hold them under their tank lights to see the effect.

They even have a black.

Was trying to get my bubble magnus controler to work with my apex.

Was going to use a dc driver i had from a light project, but it turns out I ordered the wrong part for the power connector.

Was going to use a cable tie and a peice of plastic.
But in the end. Went with this

I don’t suppose anyone has the part number for the waterproof plug used by these thing. Don’t want to cute the existing cables.

Not good.
I keep ordering the wrong part for the connector cables.
Who knee there where so many dofferent standards for water proof connectors.

Think its time to start looking on ebay for a busted controller i can cut the cable on.

The only good news is that i now have enough connectors to make that apex controlled disco ball. Hope the fish like Abba.
