Been working on the interior of the box. I hope to finish this this weekend. All drawers will be leather lined. I sometimes use leather and sometimes just flock the interior. Since this box will be finished in boiled linseed oil, I didn't want to wait 2 weeks + for the oil based finish to dry enough for the flocking glue. Leather and the BLO will make this box smell fantastic for years! I have BLO boxes I made years ago that still smell awesome!

I make 2 lift out trays at a time to ensure they are identical. I make a box, then split the box in half to get 2 identical trays (left box).

I wanted a long tray for necklaces so I could not make a center divider that could be used to lift the tray out. Instead, I made some simple handles on the side for tray removal. I used my new oscillating spindle sander with a small profile sanding drum. Easy peasy!

Sorry not sure why no images are showing up - here is a link to the album....

The beginnings of my Industrial/Steam Punk King size bed for my new home. It still needs stain, more wheels, a middle, other side, etc. The wall behind the bed will be barn wood from a barn and I am building a barn door in the center. This will be finished like that. I already beat up the wood. I think it will look very cool.
With the mattress on all you will see is 4" of those 4X6 lumber on the sides and ends.
