Start Hanging (Adhesive and nailed on studs):
Figure out the end piece and put the cap on:
First coat of primer:
I got a second coat on but didn't get a picture. once it's painted we're hanging hooks on the top rail (thus why it's oak). Sick of towel bars coming out of the wall.

Previous owners added it since the bathroom doesn't have a closet otherwise. There were better options but what do I know ;)

Yes very much so! I just helped my 75 year old boss Betty make this out of red oak and cherry that were once trees in the back 40. I just upgrade from a 40g long up to a 55g after battling cyano because listened to the LFS and did a sand bed, never again!!!With all the DIY and custom stands on here I figured a few if not a lot of you enjoy woodworking. When I have the time I like to make things. Built this today. A shelf for my bedroom.
I'm trying a finish to look like aged barn wood on it. Never done it before but I like the look and it was easy to do. I figure if I don't like it I can just paint over it. It will darken as it dries.
I would love to see some project you guys have done and maybe some ideas for future projects.

But anyway we have some black walnut and Betty said I could help myself to some to build a stand, going to do a 90g (48"×18"×24") going to make the inside big enough to recycle thw 40g as a sump/fuge. Once I start the build I'll make a build thread and link it here.

That's an old Delta table saw there and the Delta bamd saw too out in my shop I have a Delta surface planer too but I'd have to say the router table is my favorite. It's all about the trim!
