You must have forgotten to ask for my address....lol

They look great! Black walnut?

Pretty heavy to ship— I think that one is 26lbs! Yep black walnut.

I’ve made around 100 of them to fund my 8x12 woodshop. Great wedding gift, housewarming gift, etc.

Really nice work man. I have been meaning to make a few myself.

My brother and a friend just finished milling some black walnut. Going to go cherry pick a few for an end table and some to cut into lumber for some end grain boards.

Thats awesome. I gathered around 1000 lb of rosewood from a tree that fell after hurricane irma, and have slabbed about half of it so far using a chainsaw mill. Unfortunately they had already cut it into 2 foot logs, so I couldn't do any sizable live edge furniture.

He has some monster black walnut logs not milled yet. Going to see if he will make me some dimensional lumber with it. He’s a tree guy and so am I so he’s just been saving choice logs from jobs.

It’s a shame it was already cut short. Rosewood is beautiful and you see it less and less.

I made this live edge shelf from a slab I got in a barn sale, after the barn collapsed. The guy told me that tree was over 100 years old. I asked how much he wanted for it and he said "I got to get at least three for that".

I was going to try to talk him down to two hundred until I realized he meant three dollars. I took it.
