I built this 11 drawer cabinet for my shed during the end of summer. Most of the drawers are pretty deep and it’s a huge space saver.

So @jsker , a number of months ago I had a connection with you when I saw you were using an old-school folding ruler.

Now today, once getting past the facial expressions, I see you wearing bib overalls. :) The only thing I wear are bibs or shorts (I'm retired). I noticed this because I just placed an order for new bib overalls from Liberty. Drives my wife nuts...."you're not a farmer, and you're not wearing those in public"....as we walk out the door. If people only knew how comfortable they are.

Now you'd really make my day if you also tell me you wear Croc's....most comfortable shoe....wore them at my daughter's wedding (again, driving my wife nuts.) :cool:

Enjoying it and being good at it are two totally
different things. I dabble a little bit. I Built my aquarium stand from some leftover barn wood. And I built these floating beds to give my step-daughters some more space.

I like the bed design a lot.

Thanks. The ladder is the only thing that touches the floor, so it really opens up the space for them to use their room when they aren’t sleeping.

That was a really smart way to approach that from both a design and aesthetic standpoint.

Here are my other projects from this past month if you are not into lathe stuff. Leather stool already has a video out, side table video coming out tomorrow. These Walnut and Maple planters were a quick project from scrap.

Stool is Walnut with cold cast brass inlay and leather seat. Side table is a Wenge top with Hard Maple legs.

If people only knew how comfortable they are.

I used to ware shorts all the time in the shop. Even though It can be very hot here, I found I like not having my legs not banged up and scratched when I do ware short ;Hilarious My bride was helping last week, her left leg was all banged up and scratched from a board slipping (she did this on her own). My comment, "you should have been ware the overalls that I got you for Christmas":rolleyes:;) All the pockets, don't you agree.

I used to ware clogs all the time when cooking in the kitchens. Best darn shoe to ware when standing all day and for slipping. I started with the wood clogs. I would go through a pair in about six months. The front of the clog would break. Then I switch to Dansko's clogs. Not as comfortable as the wood clogs, but the Dansko's would hold up for about a year. I have to admit that I have not tried the Croc's, since I used to ware clogs all the time for culinary and had to ware a closed clog. I guess I will have to give them a try.

No Kidding! My bro-inlaw has a cast on his finger, Yup table saw:eek: He's the guy who was using a circular saw for pruning and burred it in his lego_O I still can't figure out how he did that.

Not really woodworking as much as rough carpentry, but I made a cedar wheeled pallet over the weekend. Made up of cedar 2x4s, some 5/16th bolts, and stainless washers. Sprayed some clear coat on all the bolts to prevent rust a bit. The plastic pot movers from amazon kept on breaking, so I thought I would go a bit overkill. Each wheel rate to 300lbs.

Its certainly not as pretty as it could be, but its functional. It used bolts I had laying around from old projects, so they are not the proper length.

Later we will be adding more soil to the pot and then planting ~8 basil plants :)
