I will throw my entry in here. I would certainly appreciate subscribers if you feel so inclined, but no pressure. This video was for some Christmas gifts I made this year.

Nice! For the holidays I often send cutting boards for people I am close to, and a handful of pens to other friends. I need to get a proper bushing set for my jig though, because right now I am just doing it by eye. Doesn’t always line up properly.

I feel like I am more of an amateur carpenter than a woodworker but I am getting better. I never tried a cabinet before but my daughter wanted a makeup desk when we built our house so I did this one for her. I didn't paint it or do the counter top but it still came out far nicer than I expected.
Oh and this is her mess so I cannot take credit for that. She would probably be mad if she saw this. :)

That's a great amount of storage for a bathroom, and she still manages to fill the counter! lol

The bookcase I did NOT build. My father in law built it out of knotty pine years ago for my wife. However, it was a lighter blond finish that matched the old house. Since we wanted to keep it I had to sand off the old finish and stain and finish it to match the new house. We were going for a rough look and I think it came out pretty nice.....and I REALLY do not painting!

The bench was my wife's idea and is nothing fancy. The bench top is oak made for staircases that I joined and then finished. Never did that before but came out really nice. The wall is VERY COOL. The wall came off my wife's grandmother house and since there were three different paint jobs on those boards I sanded them down to try to show off some of the shades but still blend them a bit. I even found some handwriting that was her grandfathers who has been dead for 40 years. You cannot see the handwriting on the wall in this picture but it is there. I thought her father was going to cry when he saw the handwriting on the wall...literally! :)

Funny thing is that is her bedroom. Technically it is a makeup desk but she is a college student so she uses it as her work desk too. And yes, everyone of those drawers are full. And she tells me that she needs end tables for her bed....

........ I have to admit that I have not tried the Croc's, since I used to ware clogs all the time for culinary and had to ware a closed clog. I guess I will have to give them a try.

They do sell closed Crocs.....my fish Crocs are closed....no holes. and actually have a better sole than regular molded Crocs:

The last thing I remember from my back surgery was a stampede of crocks on the floor :D All the Doc's wear Croc's

If I'm not in the office, I have Croc's on. The last time we were in KeyWest, I found a Croc store there that had them BOGO. The kids didn't get their obligatory T-Shirts, but daddy brought home a trunk full of Crocs!

For anyone interested, here is the YouTube video for the Wenge/Maple table discussed yesterday.

Not sure how you do such nice woodworking. Try as I might I suck at it. Building stuff out of steel or aluminum is a piece of cake, but I can't figure out wood.

With all the DIY and custom stands on here I figured a few if not a lot of you enjoy woodworking. When I have the time I like to make things. Built this today. A shelf for my bedroom.

I'm trying a finish to look like aged barn wood on it. Never done it before but I like the look and it was easy to do. I figure if I don't like it I can just paint over it. It will darken as it dries.

I would love to see some project you guys have done and maybe some ideas for future projects.

I’m always handleing my wood

Just starting to get into woodworking using only hand tools. My first project - a chest for my fly tying supplies.

Your dovetails would make it appear like you have been doing it for awhile.

Thanks. I made one small box with a single dovetail at each joint for practice and then went at it. I just took my time and followed the techniques from Paul Sellers - a British woodworker who has a phenomenal series of how to videos.
