Thanks! It was a little problematic to achieve this finish because when I sanded away the epoxy excess, it would reveal more holes. So was like 8-10 fills, using a syringe. Eucalyptus burl
I can definitely see that being an issue. Good solution. It really turned out nice. We just took down a pretty big cherry tree at work and I took a pretty large burl from it. Hoping it’s not hollow when I get a chance to cut it.
 
Messing around today, wife is working from home and needed a stand for her iPad mini for face time, and hands free for work

This one is made with curly babinga and oil varnished.

I was wondering on finishing my miter saw table. It got cold again so I stop for now. I only wish I had the skill you guys do.

My MIL moved in with us a few months ago and I needed to expand my home office desk to accommodate. Nothing fancy but I threw this together.

That turn out well!!
 
I would take any heat over 30F and rainy. We had a spike of 50 for a week but the temp went right back down. At least my son got a little outdoor time.

I do not miss the long term cold.
