I'm up by Malone, NY!

Old Forge here. Not quite as north as plattsburg, but still way upstate. lol

Glad to see URS over here as well. I know most have moved on to FB, but I loathe FB and will not join it.

Just moved to near Watertown. Does anyone know of any good LFS in the upstate area?

AquaPlus on Coffeen Street carries Saltwater items, as does JP's Animal Kingdom on Arsenal Street.

AquaPlus has a better selection, and good prices. The man that runs it can be a bit gruff at times, though...

I visited both already. I was not impressed with JP's TBH. Aquaplus wasn't bad , the owner was a bit standoffish but his dog made up for that. His tanks were at least maintained.

I agree with both assessments. The man at AquaPlus was on the border of standoffish and rude. I actually live in Canada, so I go to Montreal or Ottawa. I'm not sure what the regulations are on transporting fish, etc, though.

I’m 15 minutes south of Saratoga in Stillwater. Anyone know of any reef clubs around here?

Hudson valley reef keepers and capital district marine aquarium society or cdmas for short...but not too many get togethers...
