I mean, I Currently already have a heater, but it’s kinda long. Maybe I could put it in my overflow???? If not (my system is a 90 DT and 20 sump) I will just throw in a couple 100 watt heaters, I cant find a shorter high-warred heater

Heater into the overflow.
Best heater I’ve had was the Cobalts. Didn’t move more than .2 degrees.

Second was the Fluval E-Series smart heater.
Digital, LED Display including temp and colour coded display, turns off itself 3 degrees beyond setting + or - and shuts down if it comes out of water. Caged for inhabitants safety.

Worst heater was the Enheim Jager. 2 degree variance and those old fashion contact points, naw, IMM, digital is safer.

Always run with a Inkbird or Ranco controller for absolute safe heating no matter which heater you use.

I use Finnex controller and titanium heating element without thermometer. Works very well for me. Use two undersize heater so it does not cycle on and off all the time. Two 500 W with two controllers for my 320 gal with 100 gal sump.

I personally have been enjoying the BRS titanium heaters. They require a heater controller which is only like $30 but they work well.
