Anyone know how to tighten this?

So i bought a new house. Wohoo! The kitchen sink faucet is loose. I can bend it from side to side. Not sure how to fix it, but im assuming it needs to be tightened from the bottom. Pics:

The second bolt coming through the bottom should have something similar to the other with the catch on it you can use a nut and washer is its place though

Looking at the pictures closers the shiny part of the pipe coming out is that broken off or is that a machined finish.

Now i got an even bigger problem lol. This faucet is too small for the hole. They kind of just madd a diy rig for it to stay. Now i cant get it back together lol.

Which part? There is a 2"x 2" peice of wood in there for that one wing nut thing.

Looks like it is tightened from above by using a hex wrench. If you are unable to tighten because you run out of threads you can go to the hardware store and get a bushing or a few washers to put between the counter and the tightening flange under the counter

Good idea. I kind of solved it, but its not as tight as i want it. I cant tighten it from above because the sink is too thick, then the faucet wont screw on if i make it level. So i had to screw the faucet on first, slide it with the enclosure in the hole, then screw it from the bottom by spinning just the screw. This would raise the "grabbers" (those horse shoe shapped things) enough that they would tighten. The problem is its hard to tighten the bolt by using a pair of plyers to turn the screw from the bottom.
How can you tighten a screw from the bottom with the threads?

This is what i did. That screwdriver is just so the grabber will have something to grab lol.

It looks like it was installed incorrectly or doesn't fit right as evidenced by the blobs of silicon. You never need any silicon to seal a leak on this kind of fixture. My advice is to by a new faucet. It will come with instructions for correct installation.

Well looks like you have it figured out now but man looks like they drilled that bottom out a bit big. Even if you get a new faucet there is a possibility you are going to run into the same problem.

If you run double nuts up from the bottom and wrench tighten them together you could then use a socket wrench to finish tightening from the bottom.
