Anyone on a diet right now? I am working towards making summer body...:cool:
I am trying to lose at least 8 pounds in 2 months so I am eating under 1000 kcal these days :)
Any suggestion/tip for weight loss friendly food or recipes? Chicken breast and quinoa are what I've been craving this week.

If you're eating 1000 cal and you cut gluten out of your diet, you should get there much sooner than 2 months. Maybe 3 weeks in fact. Just drink lots of water (:

Been trying for about 6 weeks now but all these B-Days in the family are killing me with cake lol

ive been focusing on black coffee and ramen noodles and when hunger pangs come, more coffee. some jitters, breath -2. dang good weight loss tho

soon I w stop that, get a gym membership and be normal. maybe 6 more pounds then all legit for me. skip bread no dairy except for cheat cheese occasionally.

Ramen noodles? So you eat one serving of ramen each day?

1000 cal!! Sheesh you must be starving!! If you don't mind me asking how much do you weigh and on a scale of 1-5 how active is your day: 1 being a desk job and 5 being hard manual labor. Your goal is to shed some fat I assume?

8lbs is very doable in 2 months but as someone stated, you eating so little calories would put you losing more than that. Unless you are a very small person already

I have dropped 35lbs since mid February. I started at 24% body fat. I was 230lbs, very achy and lethargic, and sounded like a panting dog trying to put on socks in the morning before work lol. I have been on a modified paleo diet, where I started with no grains, legumes, or processed sugars. For the last month or so I have brown rice once or twice a week, but that is about the only "processed" thing I eat besides fiber one brownies as snacks and a "cheat day" every other weekend

no the real truth is at 41 I had about 20 to spare

heh gut area, not doing situps much.

and instead of chick fil a'ing constantly I just eat more ramen from the vending machine at work and not many other carbs lol. coffee for the rest and ive lost about 15 being harsh. this is not enough fiber diet, its a coffee ramen get a membership soon diet

breakfast is usually coffee
lunch possibly a light shake, and coffee
ramen, maybe some apples

coffee stop at 8 lol.

Oops I wrote [kcal] instead of [cal]..lol.. :p
I am 5"3'ft tall and weigh about 117 lbs right now so I guess I can say that I am a small person!
I try to work out at least 30 mins every day and walk to school which takes about 20mins. I am now trying to focus on my core exercise more.
What kind of food did you have when you first started your paleo diet? I am trying to stay away from any processed food or food that contain high level of carbohydrates (white rice, bread, etc...), but it's kinda difficult because I love having cookies with coffee.

Wow you are on a very harsh diet!! The diet you're doing is very similar to a "Denmark Diet". I hope you don't lose muscles though...it's really important to workout at the same time :)

You should do a 2 or 3 day cleanse prior to any diet. This will confuse your body to jumpstart any diet plan. If you don't get enough calories your body will store fat. Here's the cleanse I use and typically lose
5-6lbs in 3 days. I do it once every three months to keep my metabolism up. Im a pretty lean guy (now) so 5-6lbs is huge in 3 days.

Cleanse
Repeat for a maximum of 3 days!

Single serving Salad dressing:
1tbs canola oil
1tbs dijon mustard
1tbs vinegar
Salt & pepper

Drink plenty of water

No dairy during this time.

Dinner salad white grilled protein (poultry or fish)
1 or 2 cups green tea throughout the day.

Breakfast:
Meal shake (Atkins has lowest carbs) 140-150 calories or natural peanut butter on 1/2 an English muffin

Snack:
Piece of fruit (Apple, pear, orange, banana, mango)

Lunch:
Meal shake 140-150 calories

Snack: here or after dinner, both if you absolutely have to.
Raw vegetable: (broccoli, celery, cucumber, cauliflower)

Dinner:
Mixed green salad with grilled protein. No croutons!

Wow. This is a very useful information! I will try this 3-day cleansing method starting from tomorrow!
Thanks a lot! :)
ps: Is it okay to eat home-made fruit smoothie instead of meal shake?

Should be but adding a bunch of sugar even though it's natural.

I was on the best gym and food regiment for like 6 or 7 months. I switched jobs and it all went down hill lol. these people bring in cake and cookies and breakfast foods daily.
so much for my self control!!!

Keto diet is the only one that worked for me. 15 pounds in the first 2 weeks, my hubby has lost almost 35 over the past 2 months! But it is very hard to stick with and very easy to gain the weight back. It is a high fat no sugar diet. You get to eat a ton of meat, cheese, butter, and such, which is great, but no pasta, bread, chocolate etc, which sucks lol
