Anyone own a Bubble Magus skimmer? Particularly the 160 (external recirc)
They've made some awesome improvements, like a wider neck (now 3.2") and the use of an Aquabee 2000, instead of the cheapie pumps they had before.
This looks like an awesome skimmer, especially for the price (285), that can handle up to 150g heavy load.
Comes with an air intake muffler, John Guest fitting for cup drainage, the aquabee pump (i think 33w power usage), and it's purdy :bigsmile:
Body is made out of 5 mm cast acrylic
I had looked at these before, but they had a much smaller neck diameter and a piece of c*** pump. Picture of old style below. I would seriously consider one of these now. Looking for opinions of anyone who owns one. Have seen the threads over at RC, but don't really care for the folks over there :choler:
