Anyone running 4 MP40s on a 100-150g tank? How are they configured?

I have bought a second pair of MP40s. This brings me up to 4. I was thinking about running them staggered on each end. But I’m open to other ideas and ways of setting up these pumps.

What other configurations are you running and what.

I'm planning to use them two on each side with them inverted on the other end.

I have 3 on the back wall running different modes throughout the day. Can send you a screen shot of the program if you’d like. JP

I run 4 on my 60x36x24. Two on each side panel. All running reef crest at 85%. Then NTM for 3hrs @100%.

I ran the same setup on my old 36x24x24, except reef crest @65% and NTM @90%.

I have 5 on a 140-150ish gallon.

I have them all on the back-wall, spaces out every 18” or so, with 1 high, then 1 low, then 1 high, etc

“high” being 8” below the waterline, “low” being more towards the bottom /middle of tank

I have thought about playing around with 2 on one end, and only 3 on the back panel

I tried this on my current tank. I was hoping to “hide” my MP’s on my back panel since it’s black.

But with my aquascape and then the current sometimes blowing my sand(which is very coarse NOT sugar) at the bottom front panel I decided against it. I just felt I couldn’t get them turned up enough without other issues. If bare bottom then definitely!

So I put them back on the sides. To be honest though, I do hate having them on the side panels for visual reasons only.

Yep, Bare-bottom here. I like keeping 2 of the 5 lower to ensure no dead spots on the bottom of my tank. I run them from 30-100% depending on the time, on reefcrest
