I haven't seen anyone suggest that this was going to be their approach. Standard practice in this hobby to have comparatives and redundancy. In my case, it's hanna and salifert to measure against.
Agreed. When mine arrives, I’ll try it in my DT to get a comparison against my Apex.

But it’s final home is my QT. Just want something that gives me a quick visual indication. I have Hannas to get detailed results.

Well, it’s finally in the States. Just need it to make its way to Texas now.

Ive been running mine for the last week. PH has been consistently within 0.05 of my hanna checker. Temperature has been accurate. Salinity measured in SG is accurate but in ppt its way off. I havent had a chance to try calibrate it yet so that could be the solution. Overall I'm pretty happy with it as i wanted it mostly for a quick PH reference and as a 2nd opinion on my inkbird for temp... would recommend.

can you post some pix of it along with the comparison?

Wow, that's pretty misleading. The 5th, temp, is measured by ordinary conductivity meters as well, so this is really a 2 in one: pH and salinity.

How can temp be extrapolated from conductivity? I understand TDS, salinity, and SG can but I would think temp is a separate probe.

A conductivity meter always consists of a set of 2 or 4 conductivity electrodes and a temperature sensor. It’s not that it is extrapolated, it’s that it must be measured and the conductivity corrected for temp.

Mine delivered yesterday.

Only 1 day, but measurements are matching up to my Apex.

Their website now has replacement probes. $59.99. I only paid $89 for the whole unit. But alas…

Which measurements match?
