It is a component used to clean a generators power in order to operate sensitive equipment.

tigerdirect.com has their own brand called Xifinity. This is the one i have. You can catch it on sale for $169.00. Awesome deal. I run my vortechs and a small 50 watt emergency heater off this unit with no problems.
