Ok I have a Kessil Ap9x sitting about 12 inches off the water line

Right now I have the program set for this
8AM - CLR 0 - INT 5
9AM - CLR 10 - INT 20
11AM - CLR 30 INT 30
1PM -CLR 30 INT 30
3PM - CLR 30 INT 30
5PM - CLR 30 INT 30
7PM - CLR 10 INT 20
8 PM - CLR 0 INT 0

I do have the lunar stuff turned on at night

The tank is a 40 long and only 13 inches deep

Any recommendations for change?

Are you using the violet, red and green channels? If not, I would use the violet channel and match it to your intensity. Red and green can be added as well, but I only use 5-10% max during peak hours. The spectrum will always be focused on coral health, so no matter what color % you use, the corals get what they need and you get a "visual" spectrum that looks good to you. Other than that, you schedule looks good. I've always used their quick set program and slightly modded it to my preference, but a 12hr cycle is good.
