Hello everyone
I have 3 AP9X system which I am connecting via K-Link cable. One only is supposed to be the WIFI master. I am able to get it configured correctly if I use WIFI direct but not if I go through the app and tell it to connect to my router. My phone is a Samsung Note 21Ultra 5G. My router is an ASUS GT-AC5300

This is what I try to do in the app:
  1. All the units factory reset
  2. Only one unit has wifi turned on
  3. Clicked on Through Wireless Router
  4. Wait for orange light on the main APX9
  5. Scan the barcode
    1. A warning comes up to connect my phone to that device SSID
    2. I allow it to connect (I make no changes on my phone - just simply click on connect
    3. It says connection successful
  6. In step 3, it wants me to connect to an existing network and it presents to me my home SSIDs
    1. I select the 2.4 GHz SSID
    2. I enter my router SSID 2.4 GHz password
      1. My router authentication method is WPA2 - Personal
        1. WPA Encryption is AES
  7. The app tells me that the WIFI indicator will change from red to green. Click next to proceed.
  8. The manual says it can take up to 3 minutes to connect and if it does not, then to reset the WIFI
  9. I click next and then it tries to connect. Goes all the way to 100%
  10. The app now asks me to connect to my network wifi and it names the correct SSID
  11. I change my phone to connect to the 2.4 SSID
  12. Press Next on the app
    1. It counts from 1 to about 50% then it tells me that I could not connect to the AP9X SSID
    2. If I keep trying to retry, it fails constantly.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hey John -

Just now seeing this on Reef2Reef - looks like we were able to solve it on Facebook. Following up here just for other people who may have this issue - we got it resolved by using just the 5G network.
