I’m hoping someone can help with some ghost alarms. Occasionally in the past I’ve had Alk/Ca/Mg alarms go off when the values are clearly set differently from what the alarm says. I’ve mostly been able to fix that by changing the alarm values then changing them back.

However, all of a sudden I’m getting “HOBFilter W is less than 13(12).” It’s possible in the past I played around with an alarm like that (I.e. detecting if the filter pump fails to draw power). However, currently I see no alarm set for such an alert.

I attempted to add this alarm set at 12 but then the alarm log gets spammed with “alarm is off” over and over again. So I deleted it and then it goes right back to the original alarm. It’s definitely an “email” alarm 1) because the other alarm types are blank/off and 2) because I’m getting texts and app notifications (think 46 of them last night- and I’m traveling abroad right now thankfully with a texting plan).

So does anyone have any idea where this alarm could be coming from and how to fix it?

I just had to turn off a skinmer wattage alarm.

Go through the outlet/layout screen. I bet the 'HOBfilter' outlet has a wattage alarm set.

Start here:

Look for your 'HOBfilter' outlet under the eb832, then click the 'HOBfilter' W and then you should be able to turn off or program that alarm:

That’s it, thanks so much! Couldn’t figure out where it could be coming from. And I hate to turn all alarms off while I’m out of town!
