My Apex EL has been connected without issue since about July 2025. For some reason the last couple of months it's disconnected more often then not. I always get alarm.messages on my phone that Apex is disconnected. Probably happens 3-4 times a day. And. It usually always eventually reconnects, bit it really is a pain in the butt, considering it's been rock solid for months and months at first.
Any help would be great.

Do you know if it is connected to a 2.4ghz or 5.0ghz wifi band? A lot of electronics will struggle if they are connected to a 5.0 band for some odd reason

Wired network is your friend. Not sure why people use Wi-Fi devices for life support systems.

That said I wish I can help more but I have never run any of my APEXs on a wireless network.

I have a robust Wireless network at home. We have 8 kids, all have phones, video gaming devices, laptops for school etc. Not to mention both my wife and I have phones, computers, a couple HD tv's etc all connected. We knew we needed a robust (and fast) network for our home and set it up that way. We have never had issues, including during Covid when were did literally everything from home. I've had this same Apex EL up and running on wifi now for about a year now, and only recently (last month or two) been dropping off the network on and off throughout the day. I can still control it using the built in display, but it frequently disconnects, so I can't access it away from home via Fusion.

The wireless in the Apex is terrible is the issue, the only way to make it reliable is to wire it. With wireless it could be anything interfering with it, could be a new device you added or even your neighbors added a device. One thing you can do is buy an ethernet bridge and plug the Apex into that if wiring isn't an option.

Same here, can you imagine that previous to last UI update caused a device not to connect to network. I had no time to deal with it. As soon as another update from Ubiquiti was applied that device magically came back on. Robust or not, its wireless. Why do you think a lot of manufacturers tell you not to update their devices via WiFi but to plug it in for the duration of the flash/update?

That said, no knowing if the WiFi module is failing I still recommend a wired LAN for the apex.

Hardwire is the way to go if you have an issue running the Ethernet get these, makes it super easy to use Ethernet. They utilize your electric to supply the power for the Ethernet plug one in near modem and use a small jumper wire and then plug the other by your tank with a small jumper wire
