Probably and easy question for you Apex Controller experts. I am setting up a new tank with an Apex. I have never used an Apex before but wanted to use it from the beginning. I am going to use the Aquatic Life T5 / LED hybrid with 4-5 Kessil or Ecotech LEDs. Do people typically plug every light into one of the Apex power bar outlets or plug a power strip into one of the power bar outlets and then plug in the lights to that power strip. Plugging every light into a power bar seems a bit excessive since they will all pretty much be on the same lighting schedule.

For Radion, no need to waste one of the Energy Bar Outlets. You get full control thru a WXM module.

If they have same schedule then a power strip into one outlet. separate outlet for T5s as these would probably have slightly different schedule.

I would just plug the aquatic life into one apex outlet. For the kessils or radions, they don't need a spot on the apex plug ins. Radions can be programmed and kessils controlled through 0-10v

Appreciate the feedback! I was thinking what most of you were. I like that as it should free up many more outlets on the power bar.
