So I've had my apex A2 for quite a while now and Ive had my fair share of connection issues.

I attempted the same process to reconnect the wifi
(reset at bottom, then reconnect to Apex_setup wifi and reconnect apex to internet)
However, this time, it didn't work and was just stuck on this screen for eternity, and even asked what light I saw on the apex (which was blue), soemthing Ive never been asked in this proccess.

I tried a second network that the apex has never connected to before, and it worked, but not quite.
It made a new apex profile with all system defaults (so none of my configuration data was there)
It works but I'd really like all the configuration data I had before.

Thanks in advance if anyone could help

If you tried the yellow reset button on the back, try putting a paper clip into the hole in the brain unit. If still no good, unplug and plug back in

Assure also that the Wi-Fi and your Wi-Fi password are correct

not sure about the yellow reset button in the back, but what I was referring to from the start was the hole on the brain unit at the bottom, pressed with a paper clip

Yes- that hole was mentioned. Yellow button is back of EB932.
Reboot your router and wait for it to come back online. Then reboot the Apex and see if this gets you reconnected. If not, then follow the three different ways to help get you reconnected below.

If you are using the app with the original UI, please click on List, then the Link button on the top right and follow instructions.

If you are using the app with the Beta UI, please click on the Person icon, then the + icon on the top right and follow the instructions.

If you have an iOS or android device follow this YouTube link below (the video is of iOS but the Android app can do this too) if you still can not connect then follow the steps below.

Make sure you have everything connected properly like this image:
(if your status light is blue like in the picture, you can skip to step #3)

  1. Now get a paper clip and hold down the pinhole reset button on the APEX Base unit for 5-10 seconds or if the status light turns Blue. (whichever comes first)
  2. The system will reboot, and the status will flash and end on the color Blue.
  3. Now get your tablet or smartphone and find the Wi-Fi BROADCASTING SIGNAL from your APEX. It will read 'APEXSETUP_###'
  4. Click on it. Wait for it to connect. || YOU MUST GET A CHECKMARK on a iOS. ||
  5. Once it's connected, open the WEB BROWSER and type in 'apex.local' or '172.16.0.1'
  6. It should load the local Wi-Fi signal page.
  7. Log in and select a Wi-Fi signal that is YOURS.

  9. Type in your PASSWORD to YOUR Wi-Fi.
  10. Wait for the Apex to have the status light change to Orange.
  11. Now put the computer or tablet back to your home network
  12. Open up a new browser window and type in http://apex.local/
