Apex Controller Help

Just bought a neptune apex and I have my webcam hooked to fusion and it shows just a black screen but if I click the settings button it brings me to a webpage which will show my camera

The Neptune forums are a great start. Neptune reps say it's a pain. They are working on there own plug and play version of there own Web Cam

Yes but you don't have to get another webcam. I am using an old webcam plugged into an old laptop that runs Yawcam. That is a free app that will give a USB webcam an IP address and external access so Fusion can access it.

All I type in my URL is htpp:/192.168.1.13

I didn't think I was entering it wrong cause the cam works if I hit the settings button and hit view it will pull up the cam on a dlink webpage

But it's a black screen on the dashboard witch is weird before I hooked the cam to it was a grey screen

What should I be typing in my URL just my IP address ??? Or what

OK 192.168.1.13 is an internal IP address. That is internal to your network. You need an external IP address for Fusion to be able to access you can. If you go to a browser on a PC or MAC and Google "My external IP". It will give you your external IP address. You can use something like Yawcam or setup IP forwarding in your router.

Found out my external IP address but it's still not working still a black screen but it works when I click view and it will open up a different web browser still

That is because you are on the same network but Fusion is not. In your Router did you setup the port forwarding?
