I have the Apex el and have one DOS connected 88feet away and setup for auto water change. The awc DOS unit is powered by it's own power brick, and connected to the Apex el with 88 feet of pure data usb and works fantastic.
I just bought another DOS with it's own power and was wondering if I can take the first DOS usb that is runing to the Apex el and plug it into the new DOS, then run USB cable from the second DOS and plug it into the EL if it will read both DOS units?

Each DOS would hhave its own power and be daisy chained to the Apex EL.
I wanted to know if this will work before I order the power adapter and fittings

Not a concern for your current setup, but the downside to daisy chaining them is that a failure of whatever is connected directly to the apex would mean a failure on all downstream modules as well potentially.

Since you're using two DOS and it an unlikely scenario no reason to worry, but if you do expand in the future just be aware of what goes "offline" if something were to happen
