Apex el WiFi issue

What’s up guys so I got a apex el yesterday and tried setting up today via controller it says it’s connected to WiFi as soon as I try to add it to fusion it doesn’t let me !???? I’ve tried for on my laptop phone and tablet nothing ! What could be the problem ?

Make sure you arent masking your SSID.

I tried both set ups Apple with the Neptune app and then a windows laptop

Their is no such thing as a stupid question, ask any question you need to ask. I am unfamiliar with the apple setup as I did it the hard way with a android. I do know that the Apex is actually setup for the Apple though. Obviously the WiFi chip on the Apex is fine as its connected. Sorry I can't be much more help.

Your WiFi network, can other see it if they scan for it? If its hidden the apex won't connect to it.

Yes others can definitely see It’s actually connected to the apex but when I go Into the apex fusion to link it says there’s a problem with the internet . So I tried connecting it threw apex fusion and it says go back to your dashboard and there’ll be a token come back into fusion and type it in within 10 min but there’s no token when I go into the dashboard !?

Are you starting through the Apex display screen? I had to with the 2016 version and you will then receive token via display to continue. Just in case, go on to Neptune website and start a ticket. If you don't figure it out, they will go live with you on your computer and get you connected and set up.
