I have the new Apex controller and recently decided to hardware the internet connection and move away from wife. I am using a CE TECH Cat 5e cable, 150ft for what it is worth. It is connected through my ceiling and wall to my Xfinity router/modem.

When I log in to the Fusion iPhone app I have a red exclamation point and connection error message. "This Apex isn't currently connected to Fusion."

It will sporadically connect wirelessly. Like a moment ago, but it still thinks the connection is wifi and. It Ethernet.

I have turned off my modem/Apex together. Then booted up the modem and Apex in that order. I have hit manual reset on the Apex as well.

Thoughts?

Thanks!
AA

What does the back of the box look like, how many ports does it have?

Wanted to pass along the resolution. I set up an appointment with Neptune to help by phone and laptop. Luis walked me through what he was doing by phone as he worked out the kinks directly through my laptop. As it turns out, the Apex was trying to connect to WiFi & Ethernet at the same time while also being corrupted by what could have been a series of fast power outages. Long of the short, it was reformatted which meant losing all my programming - which I would do again every day of the week to solve the problem. Quick 4 minutes of recoding the ports and we are back in business. Wifi detection is turned off and we are working solely through ethernet. If the power blinking becomes another issue I can connect a battery backup to the base unit acting as a sort of short term bridge eliminating that problem.

Amazing feeling being able to access your Apex at any time like a normal person :)

Happy camper, thanks Luis & Neptune for solid customer service!
