I currently have an autofeeder programed to turn on 4x per day for 1 minute. I would like to change that to 3x per day. Current program is:
Screenshot_20230707_073757_APEXFusion.jpg

Can I simply change line 2 to read:
000:000/001:000/179:00

Will that code get me a 10:00, 1:00 and 4:00 feeding?

For a simple change like that I would just use the Task feature and reconfigure it. I’ve never understood the format they use for Line 2 there.

Using the dosing program generator, I get the following:

Fallback OFF
OSC 000:00/000:10/179:50 Then ON
If Time 04:00 to 09:59 Then OFF

Note: I have not tested it. Also, I too have an auto feeder. Neptune's version. Configured as a feeder, the options are pretty simple...

Thank you. This is for turning on the Avast Plank keg/drum.

Based on the above I believe as long as I have the total minutes equal to the interval (180 mins in this case) it should work out.

My AFS has been fine... but I like Avast equipment. How's their feeder?

Happy Plank owner here.

I ran the Neptune AFS for many years, it works, but always struggled with providing a consistent output. I needed to clean it weekly due to pellets sticking around the output slot, but even with the cleanings the output diminished through the week.

I've been running the Plank for about six months and it works great, consistent output, no need for frequent cleaning and I can feed a much wider array of foods. The presoak/pump arrangement keeps more food in the tank, especially if you are feeding light/powdered foods. I'm currently feeding a mixture or Avast's Reef Jerky, Spectrum pellets and a pinch of Reef Roids. The Plank it not cheap, but for me it's well worth the money.

That’s great to hear. It’s so expensive not many people have it! Or at least not many people talk about it. I had so many problems with my AFS when I was doing the pre-install testing I didn’t even bother installing.

Ah I thought you were using the AFS.

PS please post a thread on your experience with the Plank! I’ve been eyeing that ever since I gave up on the AFS :grimacing-face:
I have enjoyed it so far. Been running it for 4 months now. Allows me to consistently feed my anthias multiple times per day with multiple different foods in the keg.

Timing could be as easy as a multifunction digital timer to turn the keg motor on and off.

Been a good buy so far. Had an Eheim in the past but I like this one better.

Customer service has been great as well.
